The sci-fi animated film Dawn has revealed additional characters who will join the main cast. New characters are featured by voice actors Yoshimasa Hosoya, Kenjiro Tsudaand Kana Hanazawa. The film is set to premiere in October 2023.
Hanazawa will voice Haruka Sawatari, Hosoya will voice Ryou Sawatari, and Tsuda will voice Yoshitatsu Kawai. The anime production team also posted the photos of their characters on their Twitter page, alongside their respective voice actors.
They join a ensemble voice including Hana Sugisaki like Yuuma Sawatari, Aoi Yuuki like Nanako, Natsumi Fujiwara like Shingo Kishi, Nobuhiko Okamoto like Ginnosuke Tadokoro, Inori Minase like Honoka Kawai, Haruka Tomatsu like Wako Kishi, and Romy Park like Nigatsu no Remei-Gou.
The production staff of Dawn consists of Tomoyuki Kurokawa (concrete revolution) as a director, Dai Satou (DECO YUREI) as a screenwriter, pomodorosa (Listeners) as an original character and concept designer, Takahiko Yoshida (cells at work) as the chief animation supervisor and anime character designer, and Masaru Yokoyama (Elite II Classroom) as a music composer. Zero-G is in charge of the animation production of the film.
Tetsuya ImaiThe original manga of was first published in Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon magazine from January 25, 2011 to October 25, 2011. The series ended with the release of two total tankoubon volumes.

In the near future of 2049, humanity has been aware for a number of years that Earth will have an inevitable collision with a large-scale comet. Yuuma is a boy obsessed with space, robots, and impending collision. He has an encounter with an alien being, which he discovers is connected to the incoming comet.
