Hair transplant in Turkey was the subject of a Spanish comedy called “Por los pelos”.
The film, slated for release in Spain on August 13, deals with Türkiye’s international reputation for hair transplants. His poster, seen on the streets of Spain, has become the talk of the town as it shows a plane with the inscription “Turkish Hairlines”, in reference to the Turkish airline, Turkish Airlines. The poster also went viral on social media.
The comedy portrays the insecurities of three friends, named Juanjo, Sebas, and Rayco, who started having hair loss problems and could no longer bear the social pressure and came to Türkiye from thousands of miles away.
The film is produced by Warner Bros. and directed by Nacho G. Velilla, while the cast includes names such as Amaia Salamanca, María Hervás and Tomás Aguilera.
With the gradual lessening of the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, Turkey’s share in the global health tourism market is on the rise again as the number of tourists who prefer Turkey for health reasons over the past Last 10 months of 2021 was nearly 371,000, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK).
