JERSEY BOYS arrives at the Bank Of America Performing Arts Center in February

The American Theater Guild has announced the Thousand Oaks engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier award-winning musical JERSEY BOYS, The Story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. This production is part of the BROADWAY IS BACK IN THOUSAND OAKS series and will take the stage at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center on February 24, 2022 at 7:30 p.m.

Directed by two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff, JERSEY BOYS is written by Oscar winner Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe and choreography by Sergio Trujillo , Tony Award winner.

JERSEY BOYS is the story behind the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. They were just four guys from Jersey, until they sang their very first note. They had a sound that no one had ever heard…and the radio just couldn’t get enough of it. But while their harmonies were spot on onstage, offstage it was a very different story – a story that made them an international sensation once again. The show features all of their hits, including “Sherry”, “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, “Oh What A Night”, “Walk Like A Man”, “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”, “Beggin’ ‘ and ‘Coming back to you.’

JERSEY BOYS opened in New York on November 6, 2005, and when it closed more than 11 years later on January 15, 2017, it was the 12th longest-running show in Broadway history, topping original Broadway productions such as 42nd Street, Grease, Fiddler. on the roof and the producers.
