Netflix’s Most Expensive Movie Trailer Released

The trailer for Netflix’s most expensive movie just dropped and it looks pretty amazing.

While Hollywood’s A-listers are enough to grab anyone’s attention, it’s the film’s budget that has had people talking in recent weeks.

So, you know, just a small amount of money.

Still, the big budget prevented the film from being delayed, as the production suffered a few setbacks during Covid.

However, the cast and crew managed to produce one of the most anticipated films of the year, under the direction of Joe and Anthony Russo.

You know the amazing directors behind Avengers: Endgame and Infinity War?

And Joe seemed pretty excited about the movie, telling Variety: “It’s fantastic, it’s electric. It’s been so long since we’ve seen a film like that.

“We have two big movie stars going head-to-head in the tradition of De Niro and Pacino in Heat.

“It’s an intense action movie. Very, very entertaining performances from both actors, and they’re absolutely opposite each other in the movie.”

With Joe adding that the film marked an interesting turn in Evans’ career: “And it’s a delightfully sociopathic turn for Chris Evans as a villain. He does [make a good sociopath], it’s quite fun. So I think it’s going to be a lot of fun.

Alongside Evans and Gosling, the cast includes Ana de Armas (from no time to die Fame)Rege-Jean Page (Bridgerton), Wagner Moura (narcotics) and Billy Bob Thorton (Dallas Buyers Club).

If that wasn’t enough to set you up for action movie of the year, maybe the plot will.

Based on the book series of the same name by Mark Greaney, the film sees Gosling as a skilled CIA mercenary.

As the movie synopsis reveals: “When the CIA’s most skilled operative – whose true identity is unknown to anyone – accidentally uncovers dark agency secrets, a psychopathic former colleague puts a bounty on his head, sparking a hunt for world man by international assassins.”

Sounds exciting, right? Well, you won’t have to wait long either as it’s set for a theatrical release on July 15th and will be available on Netflix from July 22nd.

We are already counting the days.
