Jeremy Messersmith will perform at the CLC Chalberg Theater in Brainerd
Indie pop singer-songwriter Jeremy Messersmith will perform at 7 p.m. May 6 at Central Lakes College’s Chalberg Theater in Brainerd.
“A thoughtful, intelligent lyricist with a tender voice, the Minneapolis-based troubadour creates songs that are catchy and relatable, and run the emotional gamut from emotional to whimsical,” according to the CLC Performing Arts Center.
Messersmith has been praised by The New York Times, NPR, USA Today, Paste Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, Spin and Rolling Stone among many others.

Tribute to Neil Diamond postponed to June
The Central Lakes Community Performing Arts Center has announced the new date for the postponed January 21 concert of “I Am… He Said: A Celebration of the Music of Neil Diamond. ”
The postponed concert will take place on June 11 at 7 p.m. at the Gichi-ziibi Arts Center in Brainerd.
Tickets for the January 21 concert will be honored at the door for the June 11 concert performed by Matt Vee, family and friends.
With songs like “Cracklin’ Rosie”, “Song Sung Blue” and “Sweet Caroline”, Diamond has sold over 100 million records worldwide.
This nostalgic celebration features Vee, nephew of late 1960s pop star and teen idol Bobby Vee.
