Prashanth Neel and Jr NTR’s Next Movie Could Have One of These Two Titles
In May, filmmaker Prashanth Neel shared the first look at his upcoming film, starring Jr NTR. The film starring the Telugu star is tentatively titled NTR31. Now, it looks like the film’s makers are close to locking down a title.
According to recent reports, it is believed that “Asura” or “Asurudu” are the two titles under consideration for NTR 31. The first preview of the film was shared on May 20 marking the 39th birthday of Jr NTR aka Tarak.

The monochrome image captured Tarak’s face with an intense expression. Sharing the look on the social media platform, Neel wrote, “The only floor worth remembering is the blood soaked one!! I can’t wait to do this one with Tarak strength alone. It’s NTR31! I wish you a happy birthday brother. Wishing a fruitful collaboration.
The film will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers. From the first glimpse of the movie, we could sense that the action drama is going to exude a similar aura to Neel’s latest release, KGF Chapter 2. The hit movie Kannada, which was released in five languages across the country in April, collected Rs1,240 crores at the box office.
Meanwhile, Tarak’s latest film, RRR also broke box office records by collecting over Rs 1,000 crore worldwide. Director SS Rajamouli also starred Ram Charan in the lead role.
Neel and Tarak’s collaboration in the upcoming film is something the world has been eyeing. The filmmaker is also working with Telugu star Prabhas for his upcoming movie Salaar. NTR31 should have Tarak in a gray role, according to some reports.
Filming for the film will begin in April 2023 and will be released in 2024. Tarak is also working with Koratala Shiva for his next film, tentatively titled NTR30.
