Williamson County Performing Arts Center will hold auditions for ‘Nunsense’ | Entertainment

The Williamson County Performing Arts Center at Academy Park and the Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department (WCPR) have announced audition times for “Nunsense,” the first theatrical performance produced entirely by the Williamson County Performing Arts Center.

The auditions will take place on Saturday, January 8 from 1 to 3 p.m. and Monday, January 10 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Auditions are available by appointment only and will be held at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center at 112 Everbright Ave. .to Franklin.

The first audition will be sung and may also consist of a cold reading of the script and the dance. An attendant will be provided. Those who audition must bring sheet music in the correct key and may sing from the show. Tape recordings or unaccompanied vocals will not be permitted.

People of all ethnicities are encouraged to audition. Rehearsals begin February 28. Performances will be on Friday, April 1 at 7 p.m.; Saturday 2 April, at 2.30 p.m. and 7 p.m.; and Sunday April 3 at 2:30 p.m.

Actors will receive a $500 stipend.
